GO Markets Getting UAE License


GO Markets is getting a UAE license from the Securities & Commodities Authority (SCA) and in the process of establishing a physical presence in Dubai to service its new and existing clientele.

July 13 2020 | AtoZ MarketsAustralia based Retail FX and CFDs broker GO Markets has expanded in the Middle East and Northern Africa (MENA) region and obtained a broker license from the UAE financial watchdog, the SCA. According to market sources, the license was awarded to the company’s UAE subsidiary, GO Markets MENA DMCC.

GO Markets obtains a UAE license

Go Markets MENA DMCC was established in the economic ‘free zone’ of the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) in 2019. Thee company has also obtained its membership with the Dubai Gold and Commodities Exchange (DGCX) last year.

We’ve worked hard on establishing ourselves as a reputable brand and provider in the region, and I’m very happy to see it all coming together,” GO Markets MENA CEO Sherif Sanad said in an interview.

Sanad became the CEO of the firm in January 2019. He previously worked at Exclusive Capital, RG Markets, Velocity Trade, as well as One Financial Markets.

GO Markets MENA noted that it will offer all available products under the DGCX, and it will expand its product range to include further products with regulatory approval.
