easyMarkets secures new BVI license

Commenting on the BVI license, easyMarkets Chief Financial Officer, Koula Lamprou, said:

At easyMarkets, we always try to find ways to give our clients an exceptional trading experience. Oversight, regulation and security are indivisible parts of that. Our new BVI license adds to our already robust list of licenses that include European oversight by ESMA and CySEC, Australian ASIC license for our APAC based activities and FSA licence for global/international clients. We have been operating uninterrupted in the trading industry for 20 years and one of our missions has always been to grow our regulatory framework which better serves our clients.”

Previously known as easyForex, easyMarkets is one of the old trading industry players, which was founded in 2001.

easyMarkets has also grown exponentially over the past few years by opening up offshore entities in jurisdictions such as the BVI, Seychelles, Bahamas, Mauritius, and St. Vincent & The Grenadines, from where they can offer beginner-friendly features such as low freezing rate and deal cancellation.

Meanwhile, easyMarkets signed a sponsorship agreement with Spain’s famous football club Real Madrid CF. The club has consistently passed the Champions League qualifiers, resulting in greater exposure for the easyMarkets brand throughout Europe.
