Alphabet (GOOGL) Stock Forecast October 2026: Can Google Break $360?

Alphabet is back in the news. Google just launched Gemini 4 Argon, its most powerful AI model yet. But the stock has not reacted the way many expected. GOOGL closed near $338 on October 1, down about 1.7% on the day. The big question now is simple: can Alphabet break $360 by the end of October, or will it stay stuck?

Key Price Levels to Watch

The $340 level is the first wall. If GOOGL breaks above it, the next stops are $350 and $360. On the downside, $330 is the first support. A deeper floor sits near $320. As long as GOOGL stays above $330, the long-term picture still looks strong.

Prediction Markets vs. Wall Street Sentiment

Prediction markets show what real traders are thinking. On Polymarket, traders give Alphabet a 56% chance of hitting $360 before October 31, 2026. The odds of reaching $370 drop to 39%. Hitting $380 has a 26% chance. Reaching $400 drops to just 12%.

The market is clearly bullish on $360. But the odds drop fast after that. Only 7% think GOOGL hits $410 this month. On the downside, traders see a 76% chance of GOOGL dropping to $330 and a 56% chance of falling to $320.

Author’s Take

The 56% chance of hitting $360 tells me traders believe in this level. But the 76% chance of dropping to $330 is a warning sign. That tells me the market expects a lot of back-and-forth this month. If GOOGL can close above $340 with strong volume, the path to $360 opens up. If it fails, expect a slide back to $330. I think the October target is $340 to $360.

Why the Fundamental Story Looks Strong

Google just launched Gemini 4 Argon. Citi says the launch removes a “key overhang” from the stock. The model ranks first in long-context, coding, and enterprise-agent tasks. But the stock still fell. Why? Because investors want to see the money. They want to know if Gemini 4 can actually bring in more revenue.

Wall Street is still very bullish. The average price target is around $427, which suggests about 26% upside from current levels. KeyBanc has a $435 target, J.P. Morgan has $420, and RBC Capital has $425. If you want to compare GOOGL with other tech stocks, check our AMD stock forecast 2026 and our Intel stock forecast 2026.

The next big catalyst is the Q3 earnings report on October 28. Analysts expect EPS of $2.98 and revenue of $123.75 billion. If Alphabet beats those numbers, the stock could finally break through $360.

Price Prediction for End of October 2026

If GOOGL breaks $340 and holds, $360 is very realistic by the end of October. Reaching $370 would need a strong earnings beat. If GOOGL stays below $330, the outlook turns bearish. For now, the bulls have momentum, but the $340 wall remains the biggest test. For a broader view of the tech market, see our analysis on challenging the exaggerated concerns about a market bubble.
