MACD Pattern expert advisor is a special expert advisor designed to trade on six different MACD patterns. It’s a very complex EA and it employs dozens of various input parameters. MACD Pattern computes stop-loss and take-profit levels based on the previous bars and closes the open positions in fractions.

The backtest of the MACD Pattern Expert Advisor has shown ~31.75% profit with ~15.46% maximum drawdown during a period of 12 months (2020 year). The used trading volume was set to 0.1 standard lot. The EA made 207 trades, of which 86.96% were profitable. The default settings were used in this backtest on the EUR/USD H4 chart.

How to download and install an expert advisor
In order to install an expert advisor on your MT4 platform, you need to follow these steps:
- Click on the “Download Indicator” button located at the bottom of the screen.
- Save the file to your computer.
- Extract and move the files into the MT4>Experts folder of the MetaTrader4 software file directory.
- Restart your Metatrader platform.
- Find and activate “MACD Pattern” Expert Advisor in the Navigator window.
