Gain/Loss Information MetaTrader indicator shows the gains and losses of all candles that have exceeded the specified threshold. These values are expressed in percentage points or pips. Gain/loss can be calculated in two modes: Open difference and plain candlestick Close. Also, the indicator can calculate the difference between current Close (and previous Close) The indicator can be modified by traders to change the modes or alter the font color. This indicator is available in both MT4 as well as MT5.

How can you trade with the Gain/Loss Indicator

The chart below shows an example of Gain/Loss Info indicators on EUR/USD W1 timeframe. The percentage limit was 1.0%, while the pips limit were 2,500 pips. The calculation mode was "Close vs. Previous Close." Below candles, the pips count for a period is shown. Percentage change -- Above candles

How do I download and install an indicator

These steps will help you install the indicator onto your MT4/MT5 platform.

  1. At the bottom of your screen, click on the " download indicator" button.
  2. Save the file to your hard drive.
  3. Move the files to the MT5>Indicator directory in the MetaTrader4 software program file directory.
  4. Start your Metatrader platform.
  5. Navigate to " Indiators."
