TFX Global added to SFC warning list

25 August,, Lagos – Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) is an independent statutory body set up in 1989 to regulate Hong Kong's securities and futures markets. Just like many other financial regulatory bodies in other regions, the SFC constantly publishes a list of unauthorized firms which are found to be operating without due licensing.

According to the Hong Kong financial regulators, the Alert List is a list of entities which have come to the attention of the SFC because they are unlicensed in Hong Kong and are believed to be, or to have been, targeting Hong Kong investors or claim to have an association with Hong Kong. You can either search by name or by type to check whether an entity is already on the list. This is not a comprehensive list and new names are coming to our attention all the time. We will add to the list as we hear of new names.

One of its latest additions to the SFC warning list is Triumph Global (Asia) Limited/ TFX Global, a brokerage offering Forex and binary options trading services. The firm operates via the web address and claims to be supervised by our compliance department and local financial authority. A claim which the SRC is uncomfortable with, hence the firm is added to SFC warning list. Other recently added firms include:

Adlisberg Financial Inc – Adlisberg Retail Client Division
