As progress is being made by KPMG, special administrators of defunct Alpari UK, it has come to the notice of the administrators that a certain group of people are trying to take advantage of the situation to scam individuals. KPMG has therefore put out a report with the intention to alert the public about the fraudulent scheme going by the name “Alpari UK China support Team”.
This team claims to be affiliated with the administrators in the process of treating clients’ needs, saying they are authorised by the company to be the Chinese arm. But also, being responsible for look into client queries of the company’s Chinese clients. They also claim they can facilitate correspondence between clients and the joint in order to ensure affected client funds are returned.
The Joint special Administrators of Alpari have outrightly denied all direct or indirect affiliation with this fraudulent group stating that: called “Alpari UK China Support Team”. Additionally, the Joint Special Administrators and the Company had never authorised such “Alpari UK China Special Team” to facilitate the communication between the Clients and the Joint Special Administrators of the Company.
