AMF Forex Brokers Warning: Thrust Markets, MRTmarkets and more


The French AMF added 5 more brokers to its Forex brokers warning list. Also, the AMF Forex brokers warning includes the list of domains you have to avoid. 

29 December, AtoZForex – The French financial regulator, the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) added 5 more brokers to its warning list. The AMF Forex broker warning includes the domains where each firm operates altering investors against the domains offering Forex trading. Additionally, the watchdog mentions that these companies have no authority to offer any investments services.

The french regulator AMF and the ACPR published a new list of domains and entities that offer investments in Forex without the proper authorization to do so.

1. Financika Ltd. (Sharp Trading) warning

The first company stated in the regulator’s warning is Financika (Sharp Trading) Ltd. that claims to have an office in Law Partners House, operating from Lini Highway, Port Vila, Vanuatu. Additionally, the firm claims to have clearing services by Cubbon Services Limited which is located in Griva Digeni 115, Trident Centre, 3101, Limassol, Cyprus. Traders should be watchful of the broker, which operates through the website www.financikatrade.com.

2. gninvest-ag.com warning

Secondly, the firm Usurpation de GN INVEST AG has no authority to offer any investment services in France. The broker operates through the website www.gninvest-ag.com which is inaccessible right now.

3. Investing Secure International Ltd. warning

Thirdly, the watchdog states that Investing Secure International Ltd. has no authority to offer financial services. The company runs the website www.investing-secure-international.com which is currenlty not inaccessible.

4. MRTmarkets.com warning

Moreover, MRT Technology Ltd. is offering financial services without the proper authorization and the firm operates through the website www.mrtmarkets.com. Also, the main company is AF TECHNOLOGIES LTD, that claims to have offices in Unit 17 Spectrum House, 32 - 34 Gordon House Road, Kentish Town, London, NW5 1LP. Moreover, the firm claims to have an authorization by the FSPC stating on its website:

“MRTMarkets.com is operated by MRT TECHNOLOGY LIMITED, a Financial Services Company authorized and regulated by the Financial Services FSPC LIMITED under license no. FSPC77707.”

5. Thrust Markets warning

Finally, the AMF warns against Thrust Markets that operates through the website www.thrustmarkets.com. The firm’s domain is not working anymore.

AMF advise for traders 

The watchdog advice traders to view the register of financial agents or the list of authorized intermediaries in Financial Investment Advisor (FIA). Hence, ensuring that the intermediary offering banking or financial product or services are authorized to operate in France.

Moreover, the regulator recommends not to deal with entities that are not listed in the authorized intermediaries in the FIA. That is because their services would be in breach of the applicable legislation.
