10 December, AtoZForex.com, Lagos – In line with its consistent effort towards maintaining a safe environment for investors and companies alike, the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission has again blacklisted a firm found to be operating illicitly in the region.
The Cypriot financial regulators found that the firm Airsoft Technology is falsely presenting it self as a licensed registered Cyprus Investment firm, and goes as far as claiming that Airsoft Technology has been designed to meet regulatory requirements so that clients can offer a fully EU regulated brand to your clients.
Airsoft false claims
AirSoft describes itself as a provider of software solutions and end-to-end business consulting services for forex and binary options, which includes complete brokerage all-in-one solutions for Forex and Binary Options, software development and customization, Advanced CRM & lead management among other services.
CySEC has now clarified to investors that the company ‘Airsoft’, which operates via the website www.airsoftltd.com is not regulated by the commission, contrary to claims made on the firm’s website. CySEC clarified that:
- The Commission does not regulate software provider entities.
- The company ‘Airsoft’ (www.airsoftltd.com) is not authorized to provide investment and ancillary services in the Republic and it is not regulated by the Commission.
This therefore prompted the Airsoft CySEC warning, rendering all claims made on firm’s website of being regulated by CySEC as false and misleading.
