Forex Risk Calculator is used to help compute the actual Lot Size for each entry. The concept behind the risk calculator is that the percentage of the balance a trader is willing to risk generally remains constant. Therefore, it is more important to compute the Lot Size.
Using Forex Risk Calculator
Risk Calculator (click to zoom in) You can set the risk, expressed in account currency, by clicking on the left and right arrows to either decrease or increase your risk appetite. Then on the chart, you would need to drag Entry Calc, SL Calc, and TP Calc lines at the levels according to your strategy. Risk calculator will automatically update and display the Lot Size value. In addition, the Real Risk value is displayed, which is slightly difference because Lot Size value is a discrete value. Meaning it cannot be for example 0.0439. The indicator also proved information regarding the amount of Target Profit, according to the TP Calc level. Lastly, the calculator automatically determines if it’s a buy or sell order based on relative position between Entry Calc and SL Calc levels.
