Pepperstone offers two pricing models for the account opening, which is ranging from the commission-based Razor Account to the Standard Account. All of the accounts have incorporates commissions into the prevailing spreads. The trading fees vary slightly, depending on the platform.
Razor Account: The Razor Account is used with the MetaTrader (MT4) or cTrader platforms. The Razor account allows a commission-based pricing structure in addition to regular spreads.
For EUR/USD, the average spreads of the Razor account are 0.16 pips. This fee is comparable to industry peers when factoring in the commission.
Standard Account: The standard account is with higher spread with commission-free and is not as comparable to the razor Account. The average spreads on the EUR/USD are 1.16 pips, according to Pepperstone.
Copy-trading: Pepperstone allows t social copy trading, from the MirrorTrader and RoboX platform from Tradency. They also provide the service from the ZuluTrade platform and my book for MT4. Moreover, Pepperstone has the Chasing Returns and DupliTrade for social-copy trading- available for the traders with more the $5000 investment.
Pepperstone offers CFDs on 5 major cryptocurrencies. They are Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Dash and Litecoin. They are trading against the US dollar with leverage up to 5:1 across all of their trading platforms.
The minimum trading commissions of Pepperstone has started from AUD $3.50 each way on major currencies. On the CFD position, the commission would be USD $0.02 per. They offered standard, mini, and micro contract sizes on FX to suit the client’s needs.
- For MT5 Razor Account, the Commission per 0.01 lots (1000 base currency) and Commission per 1 lot (100,000 base currency). On monetary value, the commission is USD 0.04 for 1000 base currency and USD 3.50 for 100000 base currency.
- For the MT4 Razor account, the cost is similar except the USD 3.76 100000 base currency in monetary value.
- In cTrader’s, the 7 unit charge per lot refers to the first currency displayed of the pair being traded. Like, in NZDJPY = NZD$7 per lot traded. This value is then converted to the trading account currency at market rates.
Pepperstone non-trading fees are average. There is no inactivity fee for traders, but the withdrawal fee is quite high comparing to the other brokers, especially the bank withdrawals, $20.
