Cyprus based TopFX brand Kawase is enhancing its business activities by implementing organizational changes including a new CEO. Atoz Forex looks into what to expect from the New Kawase CEO Alex Katsaros?
26 October, AtoZForex – Along with updating their website and logo, Kawase has appointed a new chief executive officer, Alex Katsaros. Mr. Katsaros joins the company after working at Forex platform provider Spotware for six years as the Head of Product Development.
New Kawase CEO Alex Katsaros
Alex Katsaros was assigned as the new CEO of Kawase half a year ago, in April. Kawase is a Forex Broker brand of TopFX which is regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC). Kawase offers multi-asset trading to its clients. The Forex broker has been implementing changes in order to develop its business coverage. In particular, Kawase has refreshed their website making it more user-friendly and visually appealing, compared to their old styled buggy website. The company has also updated their logo.
When Kawase appointed Alex Katsaros as the new CEO he made the following commentary:

His previous experience
Before moving to Kawase, Alex Katsaros worked at Spotware where his position was Head of Product Development for cTrader, a platform used by Kawase, FxPro, and some other Forex brokers. Besides Spotware and Kawase Alex Katsaros also worked as Accountant at Oceanos and Trader at Concepts Investments.
He holds two bachelor degrees in Accounting and Information Technology. Besides his BA degree, he is also an MBA graduate specializing in Finance. Furthermore, Alex Katsaros holds various licenses and professional certifications including CISI’s Investment Management certificate as well as the CySEC Advanced license which covers all investment services.
What should traders expect from Kawase?
It appears that Kawase looks forward to utilizing Alex's deep knowledge about their leveraged cTrader trading platform. Indeed when we look into the Kawase media now we can see that the broker is following the path of FXPro trying to cut cost on traditional bonus based operations. In response to the AtoZForex's question about what should traders expect from Kawase, Alex Katsaros commented that:
"I started my career as a trader and trading is still my passion. In addition, I've done my best to help create the most innovative trading software. Traders should expect Kawase to fully understand their needs and treat them with honesty, fairness, and transparency."
Meanwhile, AtoZ Forex has not tested Kawase yet due to the fact that their previous website was not so friendly website. Thus, we will look into Kawase review and test them to see if they qualify to get among the AtoZ Approved brokers.
