The company is estimated to be worth about $900m in revenues as of 2013, according to Wall street journal.
With plans of an expansion of its services, Pepperstone launched the Apple Mac OSX compatible version of the ubiquitous MetaTrader 4 platform, therefore eliminating the need for Windows emulators on the MAC, and allowing for easy functionality of EAs for automated traders.
On instruction from the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC), the regulatory body whose license Pepperstone holds, pepperstone was instructed to exit the Japanese market as a result of the fact that Pepperstone was not licensed by any Japanese regulators to operate in the region.
