Blockchain Events Not Safe Amid Coronavirus Epidemic

Organizers in Paris have rescheduled a major local Blockchain Week Summit event due to the coronavirus outbreak. According to the announcement, Paris Blockchain Week Summit (PBWS) which initially scheduled from March 31 to April 1, now will take place on December 9 and 10.

This is the first summit that has canceled due to the coronavirus epidemic. It could lead to the cancellation of other events as people fear attending public rallies at this time. A statement issued by the organizers indicates that they are acting on the advice of the French government.

The statement reveals that the organizers are closely monitoring the global development of the coronavirus. They are duly concerned about the safety and security of those attending the summit, speakers and sponsors.

The French government has also banned large gatherings from avoiding any risk, making the postponement of this summit the best choice for the moment.
