25 July, AtoZ Markets The New Zealand financial regulator has issued a warning on its website. The New Zealand Financial Market Authority (FMA) has cautioned public against dealing with the company entitled International Securities Exchange of New Zealand.

New Zealand FMA Warns Against Fake Regulator ISENZ

New Zealand watchdog has reasons to believe that the International Securities Exchange of New Zealand (ISENZ) claims to be a New Zealand financial services regulator. The company allegedly endorses products and services from suspected scams, according to the FMA.

In addition, the FMA adds that the ISENZ is not a legitimate financial services regulator in New Zealand. The regulator strongly advises exercising extreme caution when dealing with any companies or products that have been endorsed by the ISENZ or on its website.

New Zealand FMA’s Binary Tilt and Max CFD Warning

At the beginning of July, the FMA has issued a warning regarding a suspected scam company that is going under the name Chemmi Holdings Limited. The company is trading as Binary Tilt and Max CFD.

The New Zealand financial watchdog has cautioned investors against dealing with this entity, adding the following:

“We have received a report about the unreasonable or unexplained withholding of client funds by Max CFD operated by Chemmi Holdings Ltd, (who also operates Binary Tilt). The FMA recommends exercising caution before dealing with Chemmi Holdings Ltd as they have the characteristics of a scam.”
