The management of the US-based brokerage GAIN Capital has undergone some changes. In the latest developments, we have witnessed Alastair Hine Appointed as GAIN Capital Chief Operating Officer. What do we know so far?

9 November, AtoZForex GAIN Capital Holdings Inc., one of the biggest US online trading services providers, has made a big announcement today. The brokerage has informed the public about its board's decision to appoint Alastair Hine as the new Chief Operating Officer of GAIN Capital.

As a matter of fact, the recent change in the GAIN Capital Holding management has already taken effect from November 6, 2017. Whereas GAIN Capital is headquartered in Bedminster, New Jersey, with a global presence across North America, Europe, and the Asia Pacific regions, Mr. Hine will be operating from GAIN Capital’s London office. He will be reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, Glenn Stevens.

Prior to becoming the COO of GAIN Capital, Mr. Hine has spent 18 years within the company. He has been serving in senior leadership roles in the marketing and operations, and technology. Some of his roles included Chief Information Officer, Chief Marketing Officer and, most recently, Chief Innovation Officer.

As Alastair Hine Appointed as GAIN Capital Chief Operating Officer, the CEO of the brokerage has commented on this change:

"Alastair's combination of industry savvy, deep operational experience, and understanding of our customers' needs make him a valuable addition to the GAIN leadership team. He will be instrumental in helping the Company execute on our long-term growth plans."

Moreover, Mr. Alastair himself has also shared his thoughts in regards to his new position as the New GAIN Capital Chief Operating Officer:
