As much as 61 new names of unregulated brokers in Japan appeared in the warning list of Japanese regulator. Check if you are dealing with any of them!
12 June, AtoZForex – The Japanese Kanto Bureau of Ministry of Finance (MoF) has added 61 (!) new names to its warning list. The regulator believes that investors should be aware of these firms, as they have no registration with the authorities.

Specifically, the Kanto finance bureau of Japan’s MoF has warned the public against dealing with a number of Forex and Binary Options among many other firms.
Some of the new names in the Kanto bureau’s warning list might be already familiar to you. The update to the warning list included such Forex firms' names as XM.COM, and TRADEVIEW MARKETS along with a number of various firms.
It is worth to note that the firms on Kanto’s warning list might be having their regulation within other jurisdictions. However, none of these entities have the registration within Japan. Therefore, they have no authority to operate within the country.
In order to legally carry out financial services business in Japan, any firm/individual needs to obtain the license from the Japan Financial Services Agency (JFSA).
As for the latest Binary Options brokers’ names to be added to the warning list of Japanese regulator, you might recognize the following ones: BinaryTilt and ROYAL OPTION. They appeared in the blacklist of the Kanto Bureau on the 9th of June, with a number of other firms with no regulation in Japan.
New 62 Unregulated brokers in Japan exposed
The regulator states that the firms either made solicitations or have been offering services only in Japan or in Japanese without any authorization to do so. The regulator further states that Japanese customers of these entities have no access to the protection that is available to clients of firms with proper regulations.
The Japanese watchdog also noted that it has obtained the information used in the warnings from solicitation materials. If investors are willing to check the reliability of the particular firm, they are welcome to visit JFSA official website.
