How to protect yourself against financial fraud?

In point of fact, AMF’s list of unauthorized websites aims to protect investors against the loss of their funds and caution them. The full list can be found on the official AMF website (section: Espace Épargnants > Protéger son épargne > Listes noires) and Assurance Banque Épargne Info Service – ABE IS’s website (section: Epargne > Se protéger contre les arnaques > Les listes noires des sites internet et entités non autorisés).

However, the French watchdog states that the websites mentioned in the list are subject to quick change. This list is also not intended to be exhaustive, according to AMF.

The French regulator also reminds investors that they can ensure the reliability of the entity that offers financial products via the register of financial agents. Investors can also find the list of authorized intermediaries in the financial investment advisor (FIA) or participating investment advisor (PIA) categories.
