Former Integral CTO Gavin Bambury becomes the new Oanda London CEO


Former Integral CTO Gavin Bambury becomes the new Oanda London CEO. Gavin Bambury will replace Narasimha, who stepped down in February.
21 August 2019, AtoZMarkets - Gavin Bambury will be the next Oanda Chief Executive Officer starting the 26th of August 2019. Oanda announced that Bambury, the former Integral CTO, will start his position in London and at the same time he will also operate as a director on the Oanda Global board of directors.

Former OANDA CEO quit in February

Former Oanda London CEO Vatsa Narasimha quit in February. According to Mr. Narasimha, he stepped down down as president and chief executive due to personal reasons.

New CEO new game plan?

Mr. Bambury brings his 25 years' experience in FinTech world. His career journey includes large companies such as, Citibank, Deutsche Bank and Integral Development Corporation.
The new Oanda London CEO commented the following:

Oanda London has had a tough times in the recent past. The company has struggled to find a proper leadership path. The previous executives were either interim or held their positions for a short while.
The outgoing CEO, Vatsa Narasima, only held his position for about two years. Some of the industry leaders criticized him for his PR stunt about the troubled case of FXCM post Swiss black swan event.
