The former Managing Director of Goldman Sachs Adam Clayton joins ADS Securities as Head of Investment Banking in Abu Dhabi. Has ADS Securities found the right candidate to expand its Institutional business?
2 March, AtoZForex – The online Forex and CFDs broker, ADS Securities appointed Adam Clayton as its Managing Director and Head of Investment Banking. Mr. Adam Clayton joins ADS Securities from Goldman Sachs International where he was MD and Co-Head of Securities Sales for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
After joining ADS Securities, Mr. Clayton will remain in the Middle East and work from the broker's headquarter in Abu Dhabi. As ADS Securities L.L.C. is based in Abu Dhabi and has authorization from the Central Bank of UAE. Since its inception in 2011, ADS Securities now has offices in London, Hong Kong, and Singapore. Possessing over the arsenal of licenses from the SFC in Hong Kong and the FCA in the UK. What does Clayton say about his new job?
Adam Clayton moved to London and then to UAE for Goldman back in 2007. Since then, he has worked in UAE where he was appointed to facilitate Goldman in building its Middle East team and repositioning senior staff from London. Moreover, Mr. Clayton has served Goldman Sachs for over 10 years. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs in 2006, Mr. Clayton also served Merrill Lynch as a Managing Director. He was with Merrill Lynch in London for more than 6 years. Before that, he worked for Citigroup as a Vice-President for 5+ years.
Now, Mr. Clayton will serve ADS Securities as Managing Director and Head of Investment Banking (IB) in Abu Dhabi. He will be reporting directly to the Vice Chairman and CEO of ADS Securities, Philippe Ghanem. Regarding his new job, Mr. Clayton said:
