FxPro UK Limited board director Nick Beecroft has left one FCA licensed company's board to join another. What do we know about this Forex industry leader?

FxPro UK Limited board director Nick Beecroft joins GKFX
The FxPro UK Limited is a branch of the global Forex broker FxPro. FxPro is an AtoZ Approved Brokerage that has its trading registration with the FCA. Mr. Beecroft has stepped down from his position as an executive of the board of the UK broker’s branch.
As Mr. Beecroft has left FxPro UK, he has joined another Forex industry player’s board, namely, GKFX. Within GKFX Mr. Beecroft will be serving as a non-executive board member. However, he still will be leading two GKFX board committees. We have reached out to the GKFX’s representatives in order to get more insights. The managing director of the GKFX has commented on the transition:

What do we know about Nick Beecroft?
Mr. Beecroft has joined the FxPro’s UK board approximately a year ago. Prior to working at FxPro, Mr. Beecroft has been serving as Chairman at Saxo Bank UK in the period from 2009 to 2015.
As he left his position at Saxo UK, Mr. Beecroft has been busy with his own creation – a shop called HP Economics. Within HP economics’ scope of business, Mr. Beecroft provided advice on management of Forex and rates for businesses. Moreover, he is also a known figure in London Forex circles – he provides various market outlooks for press and media.
Aside from these activities, Mr. Beecroft is a member of several corporate boards.
GKFX's expansion plans
GKFX is also an FCA regulated Forex brokerage – the firm has been planning on the expansion over the past few months. Reportedly, the shareholders of this Forex broker have invested over $20 million of an additional capital into the company over the previous months.
The controlling shareholder of the firm – Kasim Garipoglu. The heavy investment into the company’s hiring and expansion has resulted in the following senior hires:
- Rod Martenstyn, formerly of spread betting broker Core Spreads, as CFO;
- Hannah Hill from eToro as Head of PR and Brand;
- Brian Myers joined GKFX as Managing Director after resigning his position as VP Sales of OANDA Europe;
- PhillipCapital and CMC Markets veteran George Sassoon as Head of Sales.
