The IFSC is also highlighting that none of the Belizean local regulators have issued the license for the Fixed Star Inlvestment Inc. Needless to say, this implies that the broker has no authority to carry out any investment or trading operations in the country.

The broker is also known as Fixed Star Group. It is operating online via http://fxsfx.com. The firm is claiming to have an office at the following address: Withfield Tower Third Floor 4792 Coney Drive, Belize City. The Fixed Star Group is offering forex, CFDs, energy, and precious metals trading.

False trading license - beware!

This is not the first time a broker has falsified the IFSC license. Earlier, in April this year, the iFSC has issued a warning notice against Tradeex and Club Fast Coin. Both the brokerage firms have no authority from the Belize’s financial regulator to provide their services in the country.

The Belize watchdog warns the investors that the stock brokerage firm “Tradeex Limited” falsely claims to be an International Business Company with registration in Belize. In addition, the company further claims that it is an officially registered entity in Belize’s offshore zone. According to Tradeex, this gives them a tax-free foundation for any legal work throughout the world. But as per the IFSC warning, this Certificate of Incorporation by Tradeex on its website is a “complete forgery.”

In order to protect yourself from the similar scams, make sure to ALWAYS check the fact of brokers reliability with the regulator. You can see the list of Licensed Service Providers in Belize here.
