FCA Adds Bonds Today and COFINANCIAL to Warning List

UK regulator, the FCA has added several new unregulated and clone companies to its warning list, including Bonds Today and COFINANCIAL.

17 August 2020 | AtoZ Markets – Financial frauds, mainly in the FX and cryptocurrencies sector, are on the rise. New scam stories are exposed every week. Scammers are getting in touch with investors through email, professional websites, and social media channels such as Facebook and Instagram. As a result, the UK FCA is working hard to protect the investor from this threat.

UK FCA Updates Warning List With Bonds Today and COFINANCIAL

The UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has issued a warning to several new unregulated and clone financial companies, including Bonds Today and COFINANCIAL. “Almost all firms and individuals carrying out financial services activities in the UK have to be authorized or registered by us. Those firms are not authorized or registered by us but have been targeting people in the UK, claiming to be an authorized firm,” said the regulator.

Bonds Today claims to be a financial service provider of Fixed income bonds. On its website, the entity states, “We ensure 100% capital protection on all fixed-rate bond investments, making it an ideal investment instrument for regular income.”

COFINANCIAL claims to be an FX and CFDs service provider. On its website, the entity states, “At Cofinancial we desire to give our traders the best trading experience. We work 24/7 to improve ourselves. As a company, we do our best to give each and every client personal care – to do so. We use our human resources and technology to adapt ourselves to our client’s needs.” Scammers use or give the following details as part of their tactics for scamming people in the UK:
