easyMarkets Expands Global Footprint with FSA Seychelles License

easyMarkets has also grown exponentially over the past few years. Now the broker is expanding its global footprint by obtaining an FSA Seychelles license. The initiative reflects the broker's commitment to its expansion and growth. FSA regulates non-bank financial services providers in Seychelles. They are also responsible for the licensing, oversight, and development of the non-bank financial services industry in Seychelles through a tight regulatory system.

easyMarkets has already two licenses from different financial supervisory authorities. They are the Cyprus Securities & Exchange Commission (CySEC), License Number 079/07, and in Australia by ASIC (AFS license No. 246566).

As a result, easyMarkets is already gaining a global presence in the financial services industry. The broker said the FSA license would ensure broader regulatory oversight in new markets of Seychelles.  Koula Lamprou, Chief Financial Officer easyMarkets, said:

"At easyMarkets, our ultimate goal is to offer our clients an exceptional trading experience, and we understand that regulation, security, and oversight are of vital importance to that. Our new Seychelles FSA license adds to our already robust list of licenses that include European oversight by ESMA and CySEC, Australian ASIC license for our APAC based activities. We have been actively engaged in the trading industry for nearly 20 years, and our purpose is to expand further our regulatory framework and the ability to serve our clients better."

Meanwhile, easyMarkets signed a sponsorship agreement with Spain's famous football club Real Madrid CF. The club has consistently passed the Champions League qualifiers, resulting in greater exposure for the easyMarkets brand throughout Europe. Moreover, the broker will benefit from the sponsorship agreement from the start of the 2020/2021 season for the next three years.
