January 07, 2019 | AtoZ Markets - The well-known foreign exchange trading provider Exness has reportedly added a prominent name in the brokerage world to its sales team.

Nicolas Shamtanis, with over a decade of a solid expertise in the forex industry, is now officially on Exness’ board as a Chief Sales Officer (CSO), as the former confirms.

Having started with easyMarkets in June 2007, a CySEC regulated company, Shamtanis is today well-informed in the forex venue.

Starting as a Senior Dealer, the insistence and potential inside Shamtanis quickly proved him worth occupying the position of Dealing Room Manager, not so long after his start with the aforementioned company.

Several leadership positions have made his experience mature in the forex world

Shamtanis also engaged several positions at easyMarkets, like Chief Business Development Officer, Chief Client Retention Officer and more sales-based roles, till he last ended his way with the company as Chief Sales and Retention Officer last December, 2018.

After making Cyprus his take-off base in his career for over 10 years, the forex veteran is now moving to contribute with his expertise to the industry from his new location, Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, where the firm’s department he has recently joined is located.

Ten years ago, EXNESS managed to start competing with prominent companies in the industry, which makes the recently-made move a perfect fit, as financial analysts read that it will add to the company’s future.

Shamtanis started his studies in 2001 at the Technische Hochschule Nürnberg Georg Simon Ohm, a Nuremberg-based university in Germany, graduating in 2006 with a degree in International Business.

It is worth mentioning in this context that the APAC markets show interests in forex industry professionals, in pursues to expand outside the European circle.
