2 December, AtoZForex.com, Lagos – DMM FX, one of the brokers to be recently hit by intermittent network issues has announced an update to the situation. About a month back, the broker notified its clients about issues affecting its network. After a few days, the problem was fixed, with the broker specifying a temporary solution. Now, after many weeks, DMM FX has announced that a permanent solution has been found to the issue.

At the time of the initial occurrence of the network challenge, the broker clarified that the situation may affect clients login to our MT4 trading servers and client portal. The level of risk to clients during the DMM FX network issue was not specifically stated, although the broker assured clients of ongoing investigation and a resolution was of high priority.

After a temporary solution was found, the DMM FX announced via a statement:

“We are glad to announce that we have a temporary solution for this intermittent network issue. Please contact to our customer support via live chat for more updates. We thank you once again for your patience and apologize for any inconvenience caused.”

They assured them that the recent issue, which resulted in intermittent access issues to the trading server for some clients has now been fixed for good.

DMM Option closure

Another interesting information as regards the Australian broker is the recent closure of its binary options arm. DMM Option announced the closure of its binary options operations back in November. The firm clarified that it will return any client funds back to the source of origination from which clients had deposited, by Monday 14 December, 2015 (AEDT).

In more detail, DMM Option is a subsidiary of the ASIC regulated DMM FX. Hence the firm has a similar brand name of the Australian broker. In a public explanation, the broker clarified that the winding up of its binary options arm is due to its strategic goals to primarily focus on delivering FX services. The broker is putting more effort to maintain the highest standard FX services for its FX trading accounts, rather than diversify with a binary options arm. DMM Option quits operations as of, November 21, 2015.
