Breaking: David Cameron Resigns, Welcome Boris Johnson!

Public ignores David Cameron’s Brexit warnings

After months of advocating the UK residents to vote for the UK to remain, over 52 percent of the voters have eventually favored for a Brexit, smashing the Prime Minister’s efforts. Speaking today at Downing Street, David Cameron has announced to resign:

“The will of the British people is an instruction that must be delivered. I do not think it would be right for me to be the captain who steers the country to its next destination. I am honoured to have been prime minister of this country for six years.”

As David Cameron resigns, the opportunity for Boris Johnson to become the next UK prime minister is there for the taking. In fact, Boris Johnson could become the next Prime Minister as early as in October 2016.
