Arsenal FC Signs 3-year Betting Partnership with Sportsbet.io

Sportsbet.io has secured a 3-year official betting partnership with 13-time league title-winning English Premier League team Arsenal FC.

September 22, 2020 | AtoZ Markets –  Cryptocurrency-based betting operator Sportsbet.io has become the official betting partner of the English Premier League football club Arsenal.

According to the announcement, the partnership will focus on creating exclusive experiences to reward Arsenal’s large global fanbase and Sportsbet.io customers. It will also harness Arsenal’s iconic status in women’s football to help grow the game in Estonia, where Sportsbet.io operates from.

“It’s been fantastic getting to know Sportsbet.io and learning about our shared spirit of innovation and the ground-breaking work they are doing in the fintech space. We are proud to partner with a market-leading company that is at the forefront of the innovation journey of the gaming industry,” Peter Silverstone, commercial director of Arsenal, said.

Three-year deal of sponsorship

The deal itself will span three years, including 2023. This deal includes the new 2020/2021 campaign, as well. Sportsbet.io seems to be gearing an array of exclusive offers and content dedicated to the fans of Arsenal, in particular.

“Signing a three-year deal with Arsenal, one of the most celebrated teams in the world, is a huge venture and something we are all very excited about,” Tim Heath, founder of the Coingaming Group, said.

This new deal makes it the third such pairing of Sportsbet with a Premier League Football team. Watford FC, its first, was playing in last season’s edition but now is in the Championship, where it has already started its journey to reclaim the spot it deserves alongside Southampton and Arsenal, the other two clubs associated with Sportsbet.

A new trend of sponsoring sports

Sports sponsorship has lately become one of their lucrative marketing channels, especially for brokerage firms. Yesterday, AtoZ Markets reported that ICM.com has signed a sponsorship deal with the English football club, Newcastle United. The FX and CFDs trading platform will become the club’s sponsor for the 2020-21 season. AC Milan has signed a deal with IC Markets worth 10 million a year.

Recently, brokerages like easyMarkets and Plus500 followed and are now sponsoring Real Madrid and Legia Warsaw FC, respectively.
