AC Milan Fan Blockchain Token Now Available on Socios.com


European soccer giant AC Milan debuts its ACM fan token with a vote on the club's motto for the remainder of the playing season.

February 11, 2021 | AtoZ Markets – Italian soccer giant AC Milan has just launched its own fan token, which allows fans to vote on the club's motto for the season.

According to an announcement on February 11, the club's ACM fan token is now available on Socios.com, which allows fans to purchase the token that gives access to club polls, VIP rewards, super fan recognition, games, and chat forums. The token debuted trading at $6.68.

AC Milan fans will use tokens to vote for the soccer club's motto

In partnership with blockchain firm Chiliz, AC Milan is debuting the ACM token with a team motto poll that will see ACM holders create and vote on a motto to inspire players for the remainder of the game season of Serie A 2020-2021. The winning motto will be placed inside the first-team dressing room at the San Siro Stadium.

Scheduled for next week, the survey is designed to give more than 500 million AC Milan fans around the world the opportunity to support their favorite soccer stars.

AC Milan officially announced their plans to launch the ACM fan token in Chiliz in January 2021 in a move to reach out to fans of the club amid current COVID-19 restrictions.

Before helping AC Milan launch its fan token, Chiliz and Socios launched a series of tokens for various sports clubs and organizations, including FC Barcelona, Juventus, and Paris Saint-Germain. Barcelona fans used the tokens to vote on the location of a fan-designed artwork in the team's dressing room, while Juventus fans had a chance to choose the club's new celebration song.
