It's one of the latest Wall Street blockbuster that I have added to my short list of must watch. Considering that it was released August 2016 and directed by Meera Menon.

2. The Big Short

Michael Lewis is the famous novelist and author of Wall Street Classic “Liar’s Poker”. Furthermore, the movie includes a few weird cameos and asides that are done by big name movie starts. These big name movie stars are trying to explain a bit of the finer points of finance.

When you watch the movie, it’s either you will like these financial points or hate them. Personally, I very much like it as it captures the 2008 crisis from various points of views. In overall, the movie overall is enjoyable and it’s rated 7.8 on IMDb.

3. It’s A Wonderful Life

It's a wonderful life - 5 Must Watch Wall Street moviesThis old movie released in 1946 is a heartwarming classic that will never get old. The movie tells the story of a guardian angel that shows businessman George Bailey what life would be like if he never existed.

Also, this movie is rated 8.6 on IMDb and was awarded Golden Globe Award for Best Director - Motion Picture.

4. Trading Places

Amazingly Martin Scorsese directed movie that tells the story on a New York stockbroker Jordan Belfort. Going from the American dream to corporate greed, Belfort goes from penny stocks and righteousness to IPOs and a life of corruption in the late 80’s.

Additionally, in the movie, temptations were for the taking and the threat of authority was irrelevant. The movie is awarded 8 great awards varying from MTV Movie Awards, Golden Globe Award, and AFI Movies of the year.
